Chicken In Orange Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 chicken legs or thighs, skinned
2 tsp. oil
1 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
dash of cloves
3/4 c. orange juice
dash of Tabasco sauce
1/4 c. almonds, slivered
1/4 c. raisins
1 small can mandarin oranges, drained
1 c. rice
Preparation

In heavy skillet with lid brown meat in oil.
Remove chicken; add flour, cinnamon and cloves to drippings in pan and stir to a smooth paste.
Then add orange juice and Tabasco sauce.
Stir and cook until mixture thickens.
Add along with chicken, the almonds and raisins and simmer until tender (30 to 50 minutes).
Then add oranges and cook 5 minutes longer. Cook rice according to package. Serve chicken over rice.
Yields 6 servings.
