Sour Cream Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. ice water
    1 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. cake flour
    1/2 c. chilled unsalted butter
    1/2 c. chilled shortening
Preparation
    Combine sour cream, water, sugar and salt in a small bowl. Combine both flours in a large bowl. Cut in butter and shortening with fingers until coarse.
    Add sour cream mixture and stir until dough forms.
    Turn onto lightly floured work space. Divide in half.
    Form each half into ball; flatten into disk.
    Wrap each disk in plastic.
    Refrigerate 1 hour. Can be frozen.
