Chuck'S Spaghetti Gravy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 slices bacon
3 sticks celery
2 sticks pepperoni
1 to 2 tsp. minced garlic
2 cans Contadina puree
1 can water
oregano, sugar and celery salt to taste
1 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Fry bacon until crisp; remove from skillet and set aside.
Chop celery; cut pepperoni into sections.
Add garlic and saute in bacon drippings until celery is soft.
Drain grease.
Empty 2 cans puree into large pot.
Use one can to measure water and add.
Add seasonings to taste.
(These may be added gradually as the gravy simmers.)
Crumble bacon and add.
Simmer minimum of 3 hours.
Add meatballs, sausage or chicken as desired.
