Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cornstarch
2 egg yolks
1/4 c. lemon juice or juice from 1 lemon
grated rind of 1 lemon
Preparation

Mix water, salt, sugar and cornstarch.
Bring slowly to a boil.
When it begins to boil and thickens, add the second mixture of yolks, juice and rind.
Cook about 3 minutes longer.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Make meringue from the 2 egg whites.
Beat them until they hold a soft peak.
Add 4 tablespoons sugar, one at a time.
Spread on top of filling and bake about 20 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven.
