Cracklin' Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped salt pork or bacon
    2 c. cornmeal (yellow or white)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    In a heavy skillet over medium heat, saute salt pork approximately 10 minutes or until crisp and brown. Drain and reserve fat.
    You now have cracklins.
