Oyster Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. oysters
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/3 c. butter
    1 (8 oz.) can corn
    1 c. cooked diced potato
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    paprika
Preparation
    Drain oysters, reserving liquid.
    Saute onion and celery in butter until tender in a Dutch oven.
    Add milk, oyster liquid, corn, potato, salt and pepper.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until heated.
    Add oysters; simmer 5 minutes or until oyster edges curl.
    Sprinkle lightly with paprika.
    Serves 8.
