Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    6 c. sliced potatoes (2 1/2 lb.)
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan or large frying pan.
    Stir in salt and flour.
    Add milk slowly, stirring constantly, until sauce boils and thickens.
    Add potatoes; heat with occasional stirring until sauce boils again.
    Turn potatoes and sauce into a 9 x 13-inch glass or metal baking dish.
    Drizzle melted butter over top.
    Add grated cheese to cover.
    Place in oven which has been preheated to 350\u00b0.
    Bake for 1 hour, or until the potatoes are tender.
    Serve hot.
    Serves 8 to 10.
