Ingredients

1 stick butter, softened
1/3 c. margarine
a generous 1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
sugar crystallized ginger (1/3 c. small pieces)
Preparation

Sieve flour and sugar together; add butter and knead together until a ball forms, then add cut up (small pieces) ginger.
Take 1/3 of the dough and put on a floured area.
Dolly uses a small glass; I use a bottom of a salad jar (Good Seasons).
Butter your baking sheet.
Set oven in the beginning of making, 350\u00b0.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove at once from the baking sheet and put them on a rack to cool.
