Baked Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 thin pork chops
1 Tbsp. salad oil
1 c. sliced onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1 bay leaf, crumbled
salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. elbow macaroni
Preparation

Wipe chops with damp paper towels; trim excess fat.
Place on rack in broiler pan.
Broil on both sides until nicely browned. In hot oil in large skillet, saute onion and garlic, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes, thyme, bay leaf, 3/4 teaspoon salt and pepper; mix.
Boil 3 quarts water with 1 teaspoon salt.
Add macaroni; cook for 10 minutes, or until tender; drain.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Add macaroni to tomato mixture; mix.
Arrange chops on top.
Cover; bake for 40 minutes.
