Unstuffed Pepper Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
3 large green peppers, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans beef broth
2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans condensed tomato soup (undiluted)
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 1/2 c. cooked rice
Preparation

In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the beef, peppers and onions over a small medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Drain off excess grease. Stir in broth, soup, tomatoes and mushrooms.\tBring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for at least 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Add rice and heat thoroughly.
