Banana Nut Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 c. soft, melted butter or margarine
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 small banana, diced
    1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
    Stir in butter.
    Beat together eggs and milk. Blend into mixture just enough to moisten flour.
    Do not overmix. Fold in banana and chopped nuts.
    Spoon batter into 12 greased medium-sized muffin tins.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Yields 12 muffins.
