Cherry Peek-A-Boo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 c. nuts (optional)
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Cream together softened margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat well after each egg.
    Add vanilla, flour and nuts. Spread 3/4 of mixture in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cover with cherry pie filling.
    Spoon remaining dough on top by teaspoons. About 12 teaspoons.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
