Coconut-Pecan Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    3 egg yolks
    2 c. coconut
    1 3/4 c. pecan pieces
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Stir first four ingredients together over medium heat until thickened.
    Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Cool.
    Spread on cake.
