Perfect Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
    5 eggs
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar well until very light and fluffy.
    Add flavoring.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Add alternately the measured flour and baking powder with milk. Pour into prepared tube pan.
