Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 dash of salt
4 medium size eggs, separated
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. flour
2 c. water
1 tsp. lemon rind
Preparation

Combine 1 1/2 cups sugar in well beaten egg yolks.
Add flour, salt and 1/2 cup water in mixing bowl.
Convert to cooking pan and remaining water.
Cook on low heat or in double boiler.
Cook until it thickens.
Add lemon juice and grated lemon rind.
Cool slightly and pour mixture into pie shell.
