Caramel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    pinch of salt
    3 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1/4 stick butter or margarine
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour and salt.
    Then add milk.
    Beat well.\tAdd egg yolks (save whites), vanilla and butter.
    Mix well.
    Put 1/4 cup of sugar in skillet on stove eye and brown.
    Warm the milk mixture and add to the brown sugar mixture.
    Cook on top of stove until thickened.
    Cool, then pour into already baked pie crust. Beat the 3 egg whites until stiff.\tGradually add 6 tablespoons of sugar and beat well.
    Spoon over pie and brown in oven.
