Ham And Red-Eye Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (12 oz.) pkg. country ham slices
    1 c. hot coffee
Preparation
    Trim excess fat from ham slices. Soak in warm water for 15 minutes; drain. Heat ham fat in skillet over medium heat until melted. Brown ham on both sides over medium heat; remove to warm platter. Pour drippings from skillet. Pour hot coffee into skillet. Stir and scrape ham particles from skillet; pour over baking powder biscuits. Serve with ham. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
