Microwave Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    4 slices drained pineapple
    4 maraschino cherries
    1 3/4 c. yellow cake mix
Preparation
    Place butter in round glass 8 or 9-inch
    microwave safe dish. Microwave on High power for 35 seconds.
    Sprinkle brown sugar over butter.
    Arrange pineapple slices on top and place cherries in center of pineapple ring; set aside.
    Prepare cake mix according to package directions using pineapple juice as part of the liquid required.
    Spread cake batter over pineapple slices, brown sugar and cherries which have been arranged in glass dish.
    Microwave on 50% power 5 minutes.
    Turn.
    Microwave 2 to 3 minutes on High.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Turn onto plate.
    Yields 5 to 6 servings.
