Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 large ripe tomatoes
    6 large green peppers, chopped
    8 onions, sliced
    10 heaping Tbsp. sugar
    6 c. cider vinegar
    1/4 c. salt
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 tsp. ground allspice
Preparation
    Skin tomatoes and combine with other ingredients.
    Boil for about 3 hours.
    Stir to keep from sticking.
    Add red pepper pod, if desired.
    Pour into sterilized jars while hot and seal.
    Yield: Approximately 6 pints.
