Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
3 cups shortening
4 egg yollks
1 cup hot mashed irish potatoes
3/4 cup cocoa dissolved in 1/4 cup hot water
1 cup milk
1 cup nuts
1 cup raisins
2 cups flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
4 egg whites

Preparation

Mix in order listed above.
Notes:
cream sugar and shortening, add spices and baking powder mixed with flour.
Fold in last-egg whites beaten well.
Bake in 3 (9-inch) pans, 20-25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
