Cherry Whip Cake Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 pkg. cherry jello
    1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. water
    1 large Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bring sugar, jello, pineapple and water to boil and simmer 5 minutes; chill until set.
    Add Cool Whip and mix with the other ingredients.
    Put on angel food cake, filling the hole and covering.
    Refrigerate.
