Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    1 c. shortening
    pinch of salt
    2 c. plain flour
    6 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream the sugar, shortening and butter together. Add flour and eggs, a little at a time, alternately to sugar mixture.
    Add lemon extract and pour into floured pan.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
