Great Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Sift together the dry ingredients and cut in the shortening. Stir in milk to moisten dough thoroughly. Drop by teaspoon into low boiling chicken broth. Cover pan tightly for 15 minutes. Makes enough for 6 servings.
