Elegant Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. cooked chicken
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. tarragon
    2 heaping c. mayonnaise
    1 large can mushrooms
    4 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. dry vermouth
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. crushed corn flakes
Preparation
    Cook chicken with salt, pepper and vermouth; allow to cool in that liquid.
    Remove chicken from bone; skin and cut into 3/4-inch cubes.
    Thoroughly combine chicken with the remaining ingredients except corn flakes.
    Allow to stand at least 1 hour; add additional seasoning, if desired.
    Spoon into a greased baking dish, about 8 x 12-inch.
    (It can be refrigerated at this point.) Top with crushed corn flakes and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated and very lightly browned.
    Makes approximately 12 to 15 servings.
