"After Thanksgiving" Turkey Corn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) portion cream-style corn
    1 can chicken broth or 16 oz. homemade
    2 c. cooked, diced turkey
    1 1/2 c. seasoned mashed potatoes
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
    1 1/2 c. chopped, cooked green vegetable (broccoli, green beans or peas)
    1/2 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In 4-quart saucepan over medium heat, heat the corn, broth, turkey, potatoes and thyme to boiling.
    Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in green vegetable, milk and pepper.
    Heat through.
    Yields approximately 8 cups.
