Cherry Dream Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. white cake mix
1 1/4 c. oats
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
21 oz. cherry pie filling
1/2 c. nuts
1/4 c. brown sugar

Preparation

Combine cake mix plus 6 tablespoons butter and 1 cup oats. Mix.
Reserve 1 cup for topping.
Mix remaining crumbs plus egg and press in pan.
Pour filling over crust.
Add to remaining crumbs 1/4 cup oats, 2 tablespoons butter, nuts and brown sugar. Sprinkle on top and bake 30 to 40 minutes in 13 x 9-inch pan.
