Cranberry Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cranberries
    1 1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. light raisins
    1 3/4 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    3 egg whites
    6 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1 (9-inch) baked pastry shell
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, cook cranberries in water, stirring until cranberries pop.
    Add raisins.
    Combine 1 3/4 cups sugar and cornstarch; add to cranberry mixture.
    Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles.
    Stir in nuts and margarine until margarine melts; cool.
    Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
    Gradually add 6 tablespoons sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
    Turn cooled filling into baked pie shell.
    Spread meringue over filling, sealing to edge.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
