Wedding Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch escarole or endive
    1 c. celery
    1 c. carrots
    1 lb. ground chuck (made into small meatballs)
    2 c. chicken broth or chicken stock
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 small box acini de pepe
    2 chicken breasts, cooked and cut up
Preparation
    Cook escarole or endive slightly.
    Heat chicken broth or stock.
    Add greens.
    Add celery, carrots and meatballs.
    Add cooked chicken.
    Spread beaten egg over top.
    Add acini de pepe macaroni.
    Simmer 3 to 4 hours.
    Serves 12.
