See Sure Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. fresh or frozen large shrimp
    1 onion, peeled and cut in quarters
    4 ribs celery, cut in quarters
    6 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
    1 c. Old Bay seasoning
    1/4 c. salt
    1/4 c. basil
    3 Tbsp. thyme
Preparation
    Bring 6 quarts of water to a boil.
    Add all ingredients except shrimp.
    Bring back to a boil.
    Add shrimp.
    Boil 10 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.
    Remove shrimp from pot and put in container.
    Pour juice from pot over shrimp to cover.
    Refrigerate in juice until cold.
    Before serving, remove shrimp from juice and place on serving platter.
    Serve with cocktail sauce.
