Cottage Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lemon jello
    3/4 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. liquid from fruit
    1 (16 oz.) can fruit (apricot or pineapple)
    12 oz. cottage cheese, sieved
    1 c. Dream Whip
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. drained maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Add fruit liquid.
    Chill until partially set.
    Fold in cottage cheese, nuts, cherries, whipped cream and drained fruit.
