Candy Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. oatmeal
    2/3 c. butter
    1/2 c. Karo
    1 c. brown sugar
    3 tsp. vanilla
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    2/3 c. peanut butter
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add oatmeal, Karo and vanilla.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0. Do not overbake.
    After completely cooled, spread with chocolate mix.
    To make chocolate mix, melt in heavy saucepan chocolate chips and peanut butter.
    After icing, place in refrigerator to cool.
    Cut into bars.
