Six-Layer Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 peeled, sliced raw potatoes
    1/2 c. each: chopped green pepper and chopped onion
    3/4 c. uncooked rice (brown or white)
    2 to 3 sliced raw carrots
    1 lb. lean hamburger (crumble over the whole thing)
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce plus 1 sauce can water
Preparation
    In a large rectangular buttered baking dish, layer all the ingredients in the order listed.
    Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 4 to 6.
