Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 to 3 cloves minced garlic
    3 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    1 3/4 c. water
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    2 bay leaves
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/4 tsp. whole oregano
    6 lasagna noodles
    1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    2 1/2 c. (10 oz.) Mozzarella cheese, divided
Preparation
    Cook beef and garlic in a skillet until brown; drain.
    Stir in paste and next 7 ingredients.
    Cover, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.
    Remove bay leaves.
    Cook noodles according to directions and omit salt.
    Drain.
    Combine cottage cheese and sour cream; stir well.
