Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 Tbsp. warm water
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. shortening
    5 c. flour
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Sift all dry ingredients together in large bowl.
    Cut in shortening.
    Mix buttermilk and dissolved yeast.
    Add buttermilk and yeast to flour mixture.
    Stir until flour is damp.
    Knead on floured board 2 to 3 minutes.
    Store in refrigerator in covered bowl.
    Roll out like biscuits.
    Bake at 400\u00b0; do not let rise.
    Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
