French Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    4 to 6 tart apples (large)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. flour
    cinnamon to taste
Preparation
    Slice apples and put into deep baking dish.
    Add water and sugar over them.
    Place in oven at 375\u00b0 and let them stew for 15 minutes while preparing remaining ingredients.
