Clarence'S Peach Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (No. 2) can sliced peaches
1 stick oleo or butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 to 1 c. water
Preparation

Melt the oleo in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Mix the sugar, flour, baking powder and salt together.
Add the milk to this mixture and stir as a cake batter.
Bring the water to a boil with the peaches.
Add the batter by spoonfuls to the melted (hot) oleo. Add the hot peaches on top of the batter.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until crust is brown.
Crust rises to the top.
