Pennsylvania Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    4 c. shredded red cabbage
    2 c. cubed unpared apples
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. caraway seed
Preparation
    Heat drippings in skillet.
    Add remaining ingredients and dash of pepper.
    Cover tightly and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally.
    Cook between 15 to 25 minutes for desired degree of doneness.
