Chuck Wagon Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon slices
    3 lb. ground beef
    3 c. onion, finely chopped
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    2/3 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. catsup
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 cans pork and beans
Preparation
    In
    Dutch oven brown bacon until crisp.
    Drain off fat. In same
    pan cook and stir ground beef and onion until meat is brown and
    onion
    is tender.
    May want to drain fat.
    Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water.
    Stir bouillon and remaining ingredients into
    meat
    mixture.
    Cover and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Makes 12 servings.
