Christmas Morning Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 slices sandwich bread
    6 eggs
    1 pt. milk
    1/2 lb. Old English cheese
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Remove crusts from bread and cut in one-inch squares.
    Grate cheese into three piles.
    Fill casserole with alternate bread and cheese layers, beginning and ending with bread.
    Beat eggs.
    Add milk and salt.
    Pour over layers
    in casserole.
    Pour melted butter over all.
    Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
