Bavarian Beef - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1 (12 oz.) can beer
1/2 c. beef broth
1/8 tsp. hot red pepper sauce
2 tsp. brown sugar
3 large carrots, thinly sliced
3 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation

Tenderize steak or pound until thin.
Cut into 2 x 1-inch strips.
Blend cornstarch, salt, black pepper and garlic powder. Brown meat in oil; add onion.
Cook 2 to 3 minutes longer.
Stir in beer, broth, pepper sauce and brown sugar.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Add carrots and cook 15 minutes longer or until meat is tender.
Spoon over rice. Makes 4 servings.
