Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. mixed candied fruits
1 tsp. cloves
1 c. nuts
1 c. raisins
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
2 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Mix dry ingredients, then add others.
Line pans with wax paper.
Bake in a 300\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 or 2 hours.
