Six Layer Toffee Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. margarine, softened
    1 c. buttermilk
    3/4 c. cocoa
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 large eggs
    instant coffee powder or granules
    10 (1.4 oz.) chocolate covered toffee candy bars
    2 c. heavy cream
    3 Tbsp. light brown sugar
Preparation
    Mix first 9 ingredients.
    Dissolve 2 teaspoons coffee in 1 cup boiling water.
    Add to bowl and beat for 2 minutes.
    Pour batter into 3 (8-inch) greased and floured round cake pans and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool 10 minutes.
    Remove from pans and cool completely.
