Ingredients

1 c. oleo
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
dash of salt
1 c. crunchy peanut butter
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cream sugars, oleo and vanilla.
Add eggs and dry ingredients. Stir until moistened.
Form into patties the size of silver dollars and 1/2-inch thick.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and press with a fork.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen large cookies (3-inch diameter).
