Pasta-E-Tasule - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 small onion, chopped
    6 sprigs parsley, cut
    1 can white beans
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 lb. macaroni
Preparation
    In saucepan, put olive oil and saute chopped onion, but do not brown.
    Add parsley, tomato sauce, water, salt and pepper. Let simmer for 1 hour.
    Then add beans and let simmer 10 minutes longer.
    Cook macaroni in 1-inch lengths or elbow macaroni in boiling, salted water.
    Drain and add to first mixture
    Serves 6.
