Noodle Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. cubed chop suey meat, browned and cooked well
    3 onions, chopped fine
    3 pieces celery, diced
    1 green pepper, chopped
    8 oz. cooked broad noodles
    1 can tomato soup
    1 can mushrooms
    1 can water
    1/2 lb. diced American cheese
Preparation
    Brown and cook the meat; add salt and pepper.
    Add the onions, celery and green pepper; cook all well into meat.
    Add the remaining ingredients.
    Combine all ingredients and place in casserole.
    Cover with buttered bread crumbs.
    Heat for 1 hour in slow oven.
    Serves 8 to 10.
