Raisin Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/3 c. butter
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    cinnamon or nutmeg (sprinkled on top)
Preparation
    Mix rice with 2 cups of the milk in top of double boiler; cook over hot water until tender.
    Add raisins and butter.
    Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt and remaining milk.
    Stir into rice mixture.
    Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
