Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    10 or 12 oz. raw peanuts
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    In an iron skillet, cook sugar, water and Karo syrup until it strings from spoon.
    Add margarine, vanilla and peanuts.
    Cook until the peanuts are done.
    Add soda; mix and pour into a buttered cookie sheet.
