Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising meal
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 eggs
    1/3 c. oil
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 small can cream-style corn
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. sweet milk
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 medium jalapeno peppers (if desired), chopped
Preparation
    Grease large skillet and sprinkle with meal.
    Put on medium heat to heat skillet.
    Mix the ingredients and bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until brown.
