Turkey With Wild Rice And Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked turkey, diced
    3/4 c. wild rice
    3/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 onion, chopped
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. almonds, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. heavy cream
    2 c. chicken broth
    2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation
    Lightly brown the mushroom and onion in 2 tablespoons butter. Place in an oiled casserole dish.
    Add the turkey, rice, almonds, salt and pepper.
    Stir in the cream and chicken broth.
    Cover and bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 1/4 hours.
    Remove cover, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and dot with the remaining butter. Increase the oven temperature to 450\u00b0 and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
