Ingredients

1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 c. butter
Preparation

Put syrup and sugar into saucepan; heat until sugar dissolves, then add vinegar.
Continue boiling, without stirring, until it reaches 260\u00b0 (hard ball stage).
Add butter and continue cooking to 270\u00b0 (soft crack stage).
Remove from heat.
